Your Privacy Matters

MyWine is designed with privacy at its core. Your wine journal, cellar data, and taste preferences stay on your device. We do not operate any servers that store your personal information.

Data Stored on Your Device

All data stays locally on your iPhone:

• Wine journal entries — tasting notes, ratings, and wine details stored in local app storage
• Wine label photos — saved locally on your device, never uploaded to any server
• Cellar inventory — bottle tracking and drinking windows stored on-device
• Taste preferences — flavor profile analysis computed and stored locally
• App settings — preferences and PRO subscription status stored locally

Camera Access

MyWine requests camera access solely to let you photograph wine labels for your journal entries. The camera is only activated when you explicitly choose to take a photo. Photos are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to any external server.

Advertising (Free Users)

The free version of MyWine displays interstitial ads provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve relevant ads, in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. You can limit ad personalization in your device's Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.

MyWine PRO subscribers see no ads and no ad-related data collection occurs.

Third-Party Services

Aside from Google AdMob (free version only), MyWine does not use analytics, crash reporters, or any other third-party services that collect your data. No one but you has access to your wine data.

In-App Purchases

MyWine offers auto-renewable subscriptions (Monthly and Annual) and a Lifetime one-time purchase via Apple's In-App Purchase system. All payment information is handled entirely by Apple. We do not have access to your payment details, credit card information, or Apple ID.

No Accounts Required

MyWine does not require account creation, login, or any personal information. Start using the app immediately after installation.

Data Deletion

To delete all MyWine data, simply delete the app from your iPhone. All journal entries, photos, cellar data, and preferences are removed when the app is uninstalled.

Children's Privacy

MyWine is a wine-related app recommended for ages 19 and above. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change our privacy practices, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date. Since we do not collect data, we have no way to notify you directly — please check back periodically.
