By downloading, installing, or using GuitarTune, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.

License to Use

GuitarTune grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not redistribute, sell, rent, lease, or sublicense the app or any part of it.

User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

• Using the app in a lawful and ethical manner
• Respecting the privacy and comfort of others when tuning your instrument
• Using the tuner at appropriate volumes in shared or public spaces
• Securing your device and any data stored on it

Usage Responsibility

GuitarTune is a tool to assist with instrument tuning. Please be mindful of your surroundings when tuning your instrument. Use appropriate volumes in shared spaces, during quiet hours, and in public areas. GuitarTune is not responsible for any disturbances caused by instrument playing during tuning sessions.

Prohibited Uses

You may not use GuitarTune to:

• Violate any local, state, national, or international law or regulation
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Harass, abuse, or harm another person or their privacy rights
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app or its components
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the app's systems

Accuracy and Reliability

GuitarTune uses AVAudioEngine for real-time audio analysis to provide pitch detection services. While we strive for accuracy, tuning precision may vary based on audio quality, background noise, instrument condition, and other factors. We do not guarantee 100% accuracy and are not liable for any tuning errors. You should verify tuning results by ear when precision is critical.

Purchase

GuitarTune is available as a one-time purchase through Apple's App Store. The purchase is processed entirely by Apple and is subject to Apple's terms and conditions. Purchases are non-refundable except as required by law or Apple's refund policy. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any features at any time.

Intellectual Property

GuitarTune and all associated intellectual property rights remain the property of the developer. The app does not record, store, or claim any ownership over your audio or tuning sessions.

Disclaimer of Warranties

GuitarTune is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the app.

Privacy and Data

GuitarTune processes all audio on your device and does not collect or transmit any personal data. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information about data handling.

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the app at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.
