Overview
PitchTune is designed to work 100% on-device. All pitch detection, frequency analysis, and practice tracking happen locally using Apple's Accelerate framework. No accounts, no ads, no third-party analytics. Your data never leaves your phone.
Microphone Access
PitchTune requests access to your microphone to detect vocal pitch in real time. Audio data is processed entirely on-device and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted to any server. The microphone is only active while you are using the tuner or practice features.
Audio Processing
Pitch detection is performed entirely on-device using FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) via Apple's Accelerate framework. No audio data is stored or transmitted. Frequency analysis happens in real-time memory only.
Third-Party Services
PitchTune does not include ad networks, social SDKs, analytics platforms, or any third-party services. There are no external network requests made by the app.
