Where do exchange rates come from?
Exchange rates are sourced from a public API (ExchangeRate-API) and refreshed hourly. Rates reflect mid-market values and may differ from actual transaction rates offered by banks or remittance services.
What is the personalized rate?
Your personalized rate applies your custom spread, safety buffer, and fixed fees on top of the mid-market rate. This gives you a realistic estimate of what you will actually pay or receive after conversion costs.
Does AI briefing require internet?
AI briefing uses Apple Intelligence on-device when available. No cloud AI service is used, so your data stays private. The feature requires a compatible device with Apple Intelligence support.
Can I use voice commands?
Yes. MyCurrency AI includes fully on-device speech recognition in your locale. You can convert currencies, check rates, and navigate the app hands-free.
Is my data private?
Yes. All personal data including currency preferences, personalized rate settings, and conversion history is stored 100% on-device. There are no accounts, no tracking, and no third-party analytics.
