Privacy Policy

Overview

MyBloom is a community-driven cherry blossom and flower bloom discovery app. We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide bloom reporting and spot sharing features. There are no ads, no third-party tracking, and no user accounts.

Data Collection

MyBloom collects the following data to power its community features:

• Anonymous UUID: A randomly generated identifier used to associate your reports. This is not linked to your Apple ID or any personal information.
• Bloom Reports: When you submit a bloom status report, the bloom stage, optional note, and optional photo are uploaded to our servers.
• Location: Your location is accessed only while using the app to show nearby bloom spots on the map. Location data is not stored on our servers.
• Saved Spots: Your saved spots list is stored locally on your device and synced via Firebase for persistence.

Firebase Services

MyBloom uses the following Firebase services provided by Google:

• Firebase Auth: Anonymous authentication only. No email, phone number, or social login is collected.
• Cloud Firestore: Stores bloom reports, spot data, and community contributions.
• Firebase Storage: Stores user-uploaded bloom photos attached to reports.

Third-Party Services

MyBloom does not include ad networks, social SDKs, or third-party analytics platforms. No data is shared with or sold to third parties.
