How does matching work?
Mingle uses a smart matching algorithm that considers your preferences, interests, location, and activity to suggest compatible profiles. When you like someone and they like you back, it's a match and you can start chatting. The more you use the app, the better your suggestions become.
How do I verify my profile?
To get a verified badge, go to your profile settings and tap 'Verify Profile.' You'll be asked to take a real-time selfie matching a specific pose. Our system compares it against your profile photos to confirm your identity. Verified profiles get more visibility and build trust with potential matches.
How do I delete my account and data?
Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. This will permanently remove your profile, photos, match history, and all messages. The deletion is irreversible and typically completes within 30 days. You can also contact us at gmlcks00513@gmail.com to request data deletion.
Is Mingle free to use?
Mingle is free to download and use with core features including matching, messaging, and profile creation. Premium features such as unlimited likes, advanced filters, and profile boosts may be available through optional subscriptions.
How do I report someone or block a user?
Tap the three-dot menu on any profile or in a chat conversation to report or block a user. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team. Blocked users cannot see your profile or send you messages. We take all reports seriously to maintain a safe community.
What safety tips should I follow?
Never share personal financial information or send money to someone you haven't met. Always meet in public places for first dates. Tell a friend or family member about your plans. Trust your instincts — if something feels off, report it. Use the in-app video call feature to verify someone before meeting.
Why does the app need my location?
Location is used to show you people nearby and calculate distances for match suggestions. You can control location precision in your profile settings. Location access can be revoked at any time through your device settings, though distance-based features will be limited.
