Frequently Asked Questions

How do I log a temperature reading?

Tap the add button and enter the temperature value. You can select the measurement site (oral, ear, forehead, or armpit) and add optional notes like symptoms or context. The reading is saved with the current timestamp.

What does the 24-hour chart show?

The fever chart displays all temperature readings from the past 24 hours on a timeline. Color coding indicates normal, elevated, and fever ranges so you can quickly see trends — whether the temperature is rising, falling, or holding steady.

How do dose reminders work?

When you log a medicine dose, FeverLog can schedule a local notification for the next dose based on the medication's recommended interval. You will receive an on-device reminder when it is time for the next dose.

Can I track multiple people?

FeverLog supports tracking for multiple family members. Create a profile for each person and switch between them to keep temperature and medicine records separate and organized.

Where is my data stored?

All data is stored locally on your iPhone using on-device storage. Nothing is uploaded to any server or cloud service. If you delete the app, all your temperature logs and medicine history are permanently removed.

How do I export my data?

Use the CSV export feature to generate a file containing your complete temperature and medicine history. You can share the file via email, AirDrop, or any other sharing method to give your doctor an accurate record.
