How do I add a new vehicle?
Open CarLog and tap the "+" or "Add Vehicle" button. Enter your vehicle's make, model, year, and optionally the current mileage. You can add as many vehicles as you need.
Can I track multiple cars?
Yes. CarLog supports unlimited vehicles. Each vehicle has its own maintenance history, fuel log, and reminder schedule. Switch between vehicles from the main screen.
How do fuel efficiency calculations work?
CarLog calculates fuel efficiency automatically from your fill-up logs. Record the odometer reading and fuel amount each time you fill up, and the app computes miles per gallon (or km/L) over time.
Does CarLog need internet access?
No. CarLog works fully offline. All data is stored locally on your device. There are no accounts, no cloud sync, and no data ever leaves your phone.
How do reminders work?
You can set reminders by date (e.g., every 6 months) or by mileage (e.g., every 5,000 miles). CarLog sends local notifications when a service is due. Make sure notifications are enabled in Settings.
What happens if I delete the app?
All data is stored locally on your device. If you delete CarLog, all vehicle records, maintenance logs, and fuel entries are permanently removed. There is no cloud backup.
